With construction now extending between Madera and Kern counties to build the nation’s first high-speed rail system, the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is pleased to announce that 2,000 construction jobs have been created in the Central Valley. This marks another milestone for the high-speed rail program and for the skilled tradesmen and women who are taking part in this historic project.
