Beltsville, MD – As a Help Desk Technician, you will be exercising sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making. Communicating how to use an application, system, etc., to customers of various levels (i.e., junior to senior). What you will be doing: * Password resets and/or granting share drive access. * Submitting new accounts and group accesses. * Providing superior customer service and support. * Communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently, and contributing to the improvement of the infrastructure. * Performing data transfer services; Data Transfer Officer. * Managing requests through ticket tracking, closing, and escalating issues; assisting in installing peripheral IT items and access administration. * Troubleshooting for hardware/software (to include VTC). * Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. * Demonstrated ability to O&M experience.
