Purchasing Specialist

Didlake – Manassas, VA – The Purchasing Specialist supports Didlakes mission by assisting in the day to day purchasing tasks including but not limited to auditing orders, contacting vendors, and entering data into designated systems that provide value for our contracts that employ individuals with disabilities. The Purchasing Specialist responsibilities include assisting in sourcing new suppliers, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications. The Purchasing Specialist… will also be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies. Responsible for the accuracy of purchase requisitions submitted by Didlake employees prior to assigning a purchase order. Monitor all purchase requisitions to ensure all items requested are approved for purchase. Monitor and report all purchases outside of the PO process to the Purchasing Director.
