Duke University Hospital – Durham, NC – *** This position is traditionally known as the �trauma nurse coordinator� or �trauma PI coordinator� at other trauma centers. The program manager for Trauma Performance Improvement co-manages the PIPS process to maintain requirements and goals necessary for a Level I Trauma Center through the identification of concerns, finding solutions, collaborating to effect change, and planning and developing the organization�s Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) Program. Collaborates closely with their peer program manager for PI, Trauma Program Manager, and physician leadership to ensure compliance with all State of North Carolina statutes and American College of Surgeons Standards related to performance improvement.
