Monterey Spine & Joint – Monterey, CA – JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager is responsible for the entire accounting function -This position maintains the general ledger in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, general journal entries, payroll records, and the 401(k) plan. This position is also responsible for processing daily mail, and cash logs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned: Accounts Payable: * Enter bills received into QuickBooks… cash logs. Assist with gathering internal and external data and generating reports. Monitor bank balance Monitor profit plan contributions and request transfer of funds as appropriate. Ensure funding of estimated totals each month. Payroll: * Download payroll journal entries from payroll company to QuickBooks Track overtime, CAMP hours and any other specific codes that would increase monthly expenses.
