A group of companies in the logistics space has a fantastic opportunity. For a company with an extremely low staff turnover, opportunities with them do not come around often. The Group Accountant will prepare financial reports for the various entities in the group and will work closely with the CEO to ensure sound financial decisions are made.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Audit financial transactions and documents
– Comply with financial policies and regulations
– Compute taxes, tax planning and prepare tax returns
– Ensure timely bank payments
– Handle monthly and annual closings
– Manage all accounting transactions
– Manage trial balances, balance sheets and profit/loss statements
– Prepare budget forecasts
– Publish financial statements in time
– Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
– Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
– Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
– Completed BComm Degree in Financial Accounting or similar
– Completed SAIPA/SAICA
