While driving around on base, perhaps you’ve seen these flags flying at different facilities. Jobs are always available on base for just about every squadron, but within our squadron, all jobs are posted on the newest NAF website: Usajobs.gov
USAjobs basically centralizes all federal government jobs into one place, making it a little bit easier to find work in the area you want to.
Once an application is submitted, the team will verify all the credentials are correct and candidates are qualified. The information will then be passed on to the manager of each work area they applied at. Once a candidate is selected, HR will then start the fun stuff…. Paperwork. Tentative job offers will be sent to selected individuals.
Once all paperwork is finished and background investigations are completed, employees will then be sent a firm offer with date and time of in-processing. The date of in-processing is the date you’ll start your new job!
