Seattle, WA – We are looking for a talented test engineer to mainly perform Manual tests on software for a medical device. While the majority of the testing will be software related, you will also be working with the medical device and testing how the software updates affect mechanical parts(Cameras, Microscopes,etc.) This medical device is used by researchers and scientists around the world to help find treatment for some of our most challenging diseases and the role is truly dynamic. This is a long term contract role and requires a tester with a high degree of curiosity, someone who is comfortable working in a heavy documentation environment, and who enjoys working with a mix of engineers(software,hardware,workflow developers,etc.) The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of consistent testing experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, a love of learning, sound testing fundamentals.Medical Device experience would be a huge plus.
