IT Financial ANALYST JOB

As an IT Financial Analyst, you will be providing support to the IT leadership team in the area of financial support that contributes to the overall success of the organization.

As one of the largest departments in the company in terms of expenditures and vendors, the IT operating budget and maintenance thereof is complex, and the monthly accounts payable processing needs to ensure a timely processing of vendor payments.

We are seeking an individual that can provide value driven support to the Information Technology department by assisting in managing the complexity of our budget, expenditures and payments.

Can be remote but needs to be one of the following areas – Delaware, NY, NJ, PA, CT, RI, MA
Preference:
1. Onsite after Covid
2. Remote and onsite 2/3x per month
3. Remote and onsite 2/3x per quarter or year

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Process timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Analyze invoices to ensure proper billing as outlined in vendor contracts
  • Maintain vendor management document repository with updated and historical contract documentation
  • Utilize vendor management software to monitor vendor contracts for contract renewals/expirations
  • Update accounts and department budget in enterprise finance application (SAS Financial Management, OnBase)
  • Process updates, accruals, run and distribute reports related to the IT departmental budget
  • Collaboration with IT managers or directors responsible for the overall vendor relationship pertaining to finances
  • Ensure that departmental countersigners have completed their tasks to process vendor payments on time
  • Collaborate with Finance department as needed to process vendor payments and update budget
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to prepare and present the annual IT capital and operational budget

 

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and/or budget management
  • Experience with budget management, accounts payable and vendor financial management related to the Information Technology department
  • Familiarity with SAS Financial Management platform highly desirable, but not required
  • Familiarity with OnBase document management and workflow, but not required
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communications and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
