Data Program Manager
We are looking for a PM to manage a data pipeline including data sourcing, cleaning, validation, and publishing. This work will expose you to team collaboration as you build a valuable data analysis solution. This work will expose you to teams from all parts of Office 365 as you build a valuable data analysis solution.
Candidates can sit anywhere in the US but must be available to work West Coast hours and must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
You will engage with teams and document details for each to be included in the pipeline. This will include
- Creating functional specifications and data dictionaries
- Updating stakeholders on the progress of the project and will track progress of data attributes that are under management
- Test the data at each step of the pipeline both manually using scripting languages and with automated testing and monitoring that for which you create functional specifications

Job Requirements:
- 1+ years Program management or project management experience gaining written and verbal cross team communications experience
- 1+ years of experience with database projects including defining data dictionaries, describing data relationships, building data pipelines, and database performance options
- Hands on coding or scripting experience
- Strong technical background and foundation in software engineering principles
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and experienced in situational leadership
- Excellent written and oral communication and strong cross-team collaboration skills
- Ideally the candidate will have hand on experience with COSMOS, SCOPE queries, Cosmos DB, Kusto Query Language, and SQL Server
- This is a remote work position, but you must be able to attend meetings in PST time zone, must have good Internet connectivity, and will need to provide weekly status updates
