Study Links Infertility and Future Heart Failure Risk

There is a growing recognition that sex-specific and reproductive factors, including premature menopause and adverse pregnancy outcomes, increase risk of future cardiovascular disease.

Now a study from researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital found that women who had experienced infertility had a 16% increased risk of heart failure compared with women who did not have an infertility history.
